KT Tech-Take-HD made its debut at the Berlin International Consumer Electronics Show 2011 (IFA 2011) held in Germany in September 2011, and it was released on January 3, 2012. Prior to its release, it was known as a Spider Phone or Taker, but it was eventually released under its current name.
